Wigan Hockey Club is part of Wigan Sports Club. The club runs Men's & Ladies Teams and a Junior section. All players new or experienced are very welcome.

Greenbank High School is an outstanding all girls 11 to 16 Academy situated along the Sefton coastline, close to Southport and with good transport links.
