Shire Hall is a Grade I listed building located in the centre of Monmouth. It is a tourist attraction, venue for weddings, celebrations and business meetings.

An earthwork roughly following the Welsh/English boundary consisting of a ditch and rampart. Origins shrouded in mystery but possibly built in response to events involving the Princes of Powys.

The pump on The Plain in Thornbury is not the original pump, which was removed in very controversial circumstances
