On Sunday 23rd June 2009 a press release from club joint owner of Newcastle Blue Star declared that the club would no longer be competing at any level.

We are a Youth Football Club, established in 1980 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. This season we have 28 teams playing in our colours.

Putting on high quality rock, blues and acoustic acts, both local and touring, in a cracking atmosphere and with CAMRA ales. CC applies.
