West Essex Bowmen was established in 1981 and is one of the largest clubs in the country with archers of all ages levels and experience.

The Bowmen of Ardleigh celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2013. We are quite an old club as archery clubs go and one of the oldest in Essex.
