General information

WabiSabie is an online service that links people at one of the most difficult times for any family.

WabiSabie will save your family having to scramble to find old address books, or the sign-on to your internet accounts at one of the most stressful times of their lives.

WabiSabie can share information about funeral arrangements and if you wish, there is the facility for the family to receive messages to an eWake.

WabiSabie is also offering a secure electronic vault that allows people to store all their important documents and passwords.

WabiSabie is free to sign up. There is a small monthly fee for the secure LifeVault.

How does WabiSabie work?

You build a list of your LifeLinks, these are those special people who will be informed by WabiSabie of your passing.

This personal list, compiled by you, may include people from around the world, probably going back decades and can be updated on a regular basis.

From your LifeLinks, you select your Trusted Friends; these are vital, people who you can rely on to confirm your passing.

WabiSabie requires two Trusted Friends to verify your passing before sending your Notice of Passing to your LifeLinks. We suggest that you organise up to five Trusted Friends.

Your LifeLinks will receive two e-mails

Your Notice of Passing - sent immediately after your passing
Funeral details - sent when the information is available

If you have opted to have an eWake, both the e-mails will include a link to your eWake.

Your eWake is an online space where LifeLinks can upload condolences, memories or photos. Your eWake is only available to your LifeLinks after your passing.

We have found that, particularly for distant family and friends, where face-to-face contact is impossible, eWake offers an essential way to share special, heart-warming memories.

There is no charge for your eWake.
