After much work behind the scenes, we’re thrilled to share some very big news with you.

To celebrate our tenth year in business, we’re bringing together our two brands – Twisted Typist and Fingerprint Jewellery – under one new name and brand which embodies the spirit of what we do: creating beautiful, one of a kind pieces to mark life’s special moments.

At Morgan and French, we create beautiful, individual and meaningful pieces of personalised jewellery, crafted with love and care by our team of passionate designers and silversmiths. We’re so proud of our British heritage and we’re utterly dedicated to creating each piece from scratch to ensure every item of personalised jewellery is as unique as the person we’re creating it for.

From our early days back in 2006 when founder and creative director Lisa Morgan was creating each piece from her kitchen table, our business has changed beyond recognition. Our seven-strong team of wonderfully warm, witty and talented silversmiths work from our beautiful design studio in a brilliantly quirky Victorian Fire Station in Biggleswade. Our studio is alive with energy and works to the percussive beat of our hammers shaping the designs that’ll become a piece of jewellery to be treasured forever.

We create unique, beautiful and memorable high quality jewellery that can be personalised with names, words, dates, drawings and fingerprints, becoming sentimental pieces and wonderfully thoughtful gifts that tell a story and celebrate moments in time that you won’t forget. The birth of a new baby, an anniversary, a christening, a new home… each piece is as unique as the person they’re for.

Morgan and French is fuelled by our appetite for creating, original and unique pieces of quality jewellery. Never far from our sketchbooks, each design begins as the spark of an idea which evolves from a pencil drawing to a finished design. We love the process of experimenting with new designs, shaping the metals, exploring the way it’ll move and hang, and how it can be personalised.

It’s a constant inspiration to us that the pieces we dedicate hours to creating will become something that whoever it’s for will treasure forever.

The story behind each piece we create is what keeps our passion alive, but sentiment alone is not enough. It’s only right that you demand high standards and an item of jewellery that you’re proud to wear. This means that fingerprints, handprint or footprints, or a childs’ drawings must be faithfully recreated with as much detail as possible. Our dedication, precision and commitment to quality remain unrivalled. That makes us exceptionally chuffed.
