General information
The Postsaver system is manufactured in the E.U. and consists of a heavy gauge thermoplastic Polyethylene outer sleeve lined with a meltable bituminous sealer.
In use the Postsaver sleeve is placed over the in-ground section of the post then heated using a simple high throughput application machine at the point of production. This causes the bituminous liner to melt and seal the surface of the timber whilst the outer sleeve shrinks down tightly on to the pole.
This creates a tough dual layer barrier which keeps the preservative in and the causes of decay out even in the wettest ground conditions.
