The Development Education Centre South Yorkshire, DECSY, works with teachers and others involved in education, promoting a development and global perspective in the curriculum.
Using active learning methods, based on enquiry into issues and ideas, DEC(SY) aims to help people to develop the skills and commitment to work together to bring about a more just and sustainable world.
We work with anyone engaged in formal education, including schools, local authorities, universities, early years settings and after-school clubs.
We co-operate with other DECs, local, regional, national and international organisations.
