General information
Nordic Walking UK strive to ensure that Nordic Walking is introduced to the British Public in way that ensures they get the most benefit from it, are safe and above all, enjoy it! We are the original Nordic Walking company in the UK and the largest training provider.
Our Master Trainer Martin Christie has been involved in the promotion and development of Nordic Walking in the UK since 2003 and has personally trained in excess of 1,000 Instructors - Individuals and employees of PCTs and Local Authorities.
Our National Tutors are all experienced Nordic Walkers who understand the variations of technique available worldwide and have worked with us to develop what we believe, is the safest and most effective technique. Our Tutors are ALL a minimum of REPs level 3 or Sports Science graduates and CYQ Tutors/Assessors
We are part of the EXERCISE ANYWHERE group who are industry experts in physical activity promotion, programming and client engagement. Our vision is to create fantastic fun filled exercise opportunities that are delivered by professional but approachable instructors in locations that are accessible. In short we do not want people to simply learn how to Nordic walk - we want them to join us for life!
