Magma, are a software development company (est. 1999). Our team of engineers work with you and your business. We take the time to understand your business goals & use an agile, iterative approach so that you stay in control of the development process.

Based in Chorley in Lancashire, we have large offices in a modern office complex. We have a team of engineers & technical project managers, supported by account managers & administration staff. With over 17 years experience our company has a well-established history of delivering to customers & maintaining our strong position in the market.

Recent projects Include:

Writing an on-line Invoicing & Payroll system Providing BACS exports & integration with Government Gateway for on-line filing of P45/46, P60, P35 amongst other features

Working as the development partner with our customers in-house development team, we have written an enterprise level risk management system that will be used internationally & nationally

We have developed various online applications that handle customer data for businesses such as; large scale membership databases, training provider databases, holiday data & printing requests

We support on-going learning. We are founders of PHPNW a North West forum for learning PHP. Founded over 10 years ago it hosts an annual sell-out conference for over 400 developers.

In-house we expect all our engineers to carry out 40 hours of continuous personal development & we hold our own training sessions each month
