General information

SafeGirl first came about back in 2011, the brainchild of Andrea Clark, who, at the time, was concerned about the eldest of her four daughters starting to walk home from school alone. The month SafeGirl was launched, Andrea entered into the first of two highly abusive relationships, and five years on, escaped the second, realising that her head had never been in the right place to properly concentrate on a business, and also suffering from C-PTSD.

After months of therapy, self-discovery, and working on her own self-esteem, Andrea discovered the tools in which to empower herself, and wanted to share this message with other women. And that’s when the new improved SafeGirl mission was born. With a book soon to be published, written originally for her own four daughters, the mission is to educate girls and teens early on in life.

Building teen self-esteem encourages confidence, prevents our youngsters from entering into toxic relationships, and empowers them to become self aware and safety savvy when out and about.

By spreading the word via our SafeGirl Empowerment Events, and recruiting new SafeGirl sisters into our family, we can empower more and more girls and women to become more confident, financially independent, and belong to a tribe of like-minded supportive women - our SafeGirl family.
