Data is protected against disk failure by incorporating standard RAID redundancy, whereby multiple disks are configured to work together in a "disk array".

SAN Storage meets the customer needs when fast access is required for the application. Servers communicate via Fibre Channel or iSCSI connections to access data at block level, where performance is key in the manipulation and delivery of data.
