Panad Site Services

General information

Panad was founded in 1996 as a supplier of outsourced security services to the chemical and associated industries.

We seized on the opportunities created by the introduction of the Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Regulations in 1999 and quickly became specialists within manufacturing and the chemical sectors. This was because our teams who operated gatehouses and goods in and out services were the obvious focal point for major incident control protocols and we invested in our personnel to make them accomplished in relation to COMAH.

Contracts at many of the major industrial sites in the North West soon followed and our clients started asking for additional services. These were developed in cooperation with our clients to make sure the services they received were tailored to their exact requirements. As well as developing additional support solutions delivered directly by us, we also built up a list of third-party suppliers who provided services on behalf of Panad Site Services with the full knowledge and confidence of our clients.

We are one of the few independent, owner managed security companies that are big enough to deliver SIA Approved Contractor Level services to blue chip organisations.
