Prospects College of Advanced Technology (PROCAT) has been established by the UK government as the first of the new colleges of advanced technology, leading the way in the further education sector. The partnership with the engineering and construction industries, including some of the UK’s leading employers, is based on articulating and meeting the needs of these sectors.

By working with employers who are themselves operating at the cutting edge, the new college will provide the very latest industry standard apprenticeships and workforce skills training. This ensures that companies have the people and skills needed to compete in a global economy.

The new college builds on a proud history of over 45 years of delivering high-quality training to thousands of learners who have gone on to have successful careers in engineering and construction. Ofsted has rated all of the courses at PROCAT good or outstanding and the clear aim is to achieve top performance across all provision. As a leading Group Training Association (GTA) there is a long tradition of employing industry professionals who use their real-life experience to train and develop the technicians of the future. PROCAT staff are industry-trained expert instructors and lecturers with a passion and commitment to student success.
