General information

At the Chongi Academy, we specialise in a personal training style of coaching in a friendly and relaxed group environment.

This has many positives, not least that our students' ability and fitness levels improve at an impressive rate. Our method is as successful in teaching Pilates as it is in teaching Thai Boxing. It is built on strong foundations with highly qualified and experienced teachers and trainers and a person-centred approach. At Chongi, you aren't just a number; when you join us, you become part of the team.

Martial arts: We do have a group of students who spar and compete but many attend purely for fun, fitness and self defence. The women's only class is particularly popular. All the classes will get your heart rate up, but you'll be amazed how quickly they will change the size and shape of your body and improve your confidence.

Our light, airy and high-spec gym surpasses any expectations of a typical martial arts academy. We offer combat and non combat classes for all the family.

Centred around an innovative
soft-floor exercise area created specifically for martial arts, Pilates and yoga, it is Kitted out with the latest bags, speedballs, strength and conditioning equipment and full- sized sparring ring,
it’s also a modern, comfortable space where you’ll enjoy training.

In addition to the martial arts listed, we also offer Pilates, kettle bell training and circuits classes.
