SENDIASS Gloucestershire (formally The Parent Partnership Service) provides free, impartial and confidential information, advice and support for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to Parents, Carers and young people.
We provide Information, advice and support
•Information advice and support through the Education Health and Care assessment and planning process
•Signposting for confidential and impartial IAS to young people (16+) on their own, if requested
•Support to prepare for and attend meetings.
•Help in filling in forms and writing letters/reports
•Support on exclusions
•Support in resolving disagreements, including mediation and tribunals.
•Signposting to local or national sources of advice, information and support around Education, Health and Social Care
•Links to local parent support groups and forums
•Information & advice regarding local policy and practice, the Local Offer, Personal Budgets, the law on SEN and disability and health and social care.
