General information
GGA is working with local activity providers to make sure that people are able to try an activity easily and at a low cost by providing free first session vouchers. This includes sport, activity, dance and active travel.
We will be working with hundreds of partners across Greenwich including council departments, sports clubs, activity groups, charities, businesses and more to implement this programme.
Once people have registered with us we will support them in getting active. This could include:
- finding them somewhere to do the activity of their choice
- providing a personalised active travel plan to help them walk or cycle to work
- providing motivational interviewing to help them set realistic goals for getting active.
We’ll also work with local activity providers to make sure that people are able to try an activity easily and cheaply.
