Ditch Your Trauma

General information

Many people experience traumas in life, such as abuse, bullying, accidents, war situations, extreme embarrassment or humiliation, animal attack, being on the recieving end of criminal behaviour, stalking, receiving threats, being on the receiving end of anger, emergency situations, disturbing scenes, sudden loss, illness or injury, extreme pain, extreme fear responses, feeling out of control, disturbing thoughts of harming others (and of course other sources too).
Unsurprisingly, many people find it hard to shake off these experiences and so carry them around inside such that they affect their current life experiences. The unhelpful feelings and responses to the past traumas are still being triggered, often unexpectedly, and a person may feel helpless and even imprisoned by their own past. People are not, in general, aware of how to interrupt or replace the connections in the mind (and the brain) that keep these unhelpful responses alive.

Clients come to me to ditch their responses to such past traumas, free themselves and get on with their lives again! Effectively breaking those connections in your mind between past experiences and current responses can free you and help you to start really living again!

At the core of my approach I use a ground-breaking approach called 'Havening Techniques®' which effectively de-couples the stored traumatic memory in the brain from the usual unhelpful emotional responses upon recall, so after 'Havening' you can think of the event without the unhelpful emotions. Clients find this to be truly remarkable!

By the way, Havening has been effectively done via video call (eg Skype) on many occasions, so geography need not be a barrier to you getting the help that you need.
