General information

As a qualified counsellor, I offer my clients a warm, supportive therapeutic relationship through which they can gain a greater insight into their issues, allowing them to find ways of managing their feelings, improving relationships and generally getting more out of life.

My work is integrative with a base in Humanistic principles; this means that I believe in being genuine and non-judgemental and use a wide understanding of therapeutic approaches – as well as personal experience – to inform my understanding. Being empathetic – seeing the world through my client’s eyes – is an important part of how I work.

I have over 3 years of counselling experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings, and have been privileged to work with people of varying backgrounds and with different issues. Reason’s clients come to counselling may include stress, relationship breakdown, bereavement, feelings of depression or anxiety but could be anything in their life that is causing them difficulty or suffering.
