Annabelle Valentine at The Valentine Gallery

The Valentine Gallery is a lovely space for artists to exhibit. The venue's resident artist, Annabelle Valentine, displays her own work between featured exhibitions. Annabelle also uses the space as a workshop, creating traditional realist artwork for commissions and as an expression of her passion. Annabelle is always pleased to chat while she works, demonstrating her technique in this relaxed and friendly venue.

Annabelle is a prolific full time artist who studied fine art illustration for four years at Exeter and Portsmouth, having learned many skills from her mother.

She is an established commission painter, completing numerous commissions since 2001. Creating wonderful images in oil, pastel, charcoal and pencil. Although she is known primarily as a portrait artist, she also creates beautiful animal portraits, and any other subject is welcomed. Bespoke hand-made frames and world-wide shipping are also available.

She is a direct descendant of famous 19th century portrait and landscape artist John Linnell (the patron of William Blake) and is also related to the artist Samuel Palmer.
