General information
Our family has been involved in horticulture since 1947 when my grandfather started professional gardening after the second world war. In fact he was really involved before the war when he was working in commercial greenhouses, but the exact history pre war is sketchy. We have been making a living from horticulture ever since. It seemed a natural progression to try to evolve our business in to a web based company to utilise our knowledge and help other gardeners along the way.
Local Gardener, at present, is a group of websites to help horticultural businesses display and advertise their products and services. Local Gardener also aims to make it easier for the public to find the right horticultural service for their needs. We also provide a free news service where horticulture based businesses can publish their latest news for free on our online newspaper
