General information
My name is Alex O'Donnell and I am a counselling therapist (BACP registered) based in Swindon.
Counselling is a talking therapy which aims to help people make sense of their emotions or the situations in which they find themselves and, in turn, bring about effective change and a greater sense of well-being.
It offers a safe, confidential environment where individuals can unpack their thoughts and feelings with a trained practitioner who will listen attentively, empathically and without judgement to what's being said.
The counselling process enables the client to get a better overview of their problems and find ways to move forward with more insight, assuredness and enthusiasm.
I offer face-to-face, individual counselling for adults on a short term, long term and open-ended basis.
