With Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy, the body’s own priorities for change are listened for and encouraged to arise. The art of the therapist is to connect with the underlying forces of health and facilitate a process of natural reorganisation. These forces express as subtle motion of tissues and fluids that can be felt by sensitive hands. Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy takes a whole-person approach to healing and the inter-connectedness of mind, body and spirit are deeply acknowledged.

Health is expressed by rhythmic impulses in the body that can be palpated by sensitive hands. These motions arise at the core of the body and involve the central nervous system, the cerebral spinal fluid and the surrounding tissues and bones, including the bones of the skull and pelvis. This is referred to as the Primary Respiratory Mechanism. These motions have important physiological functions for the maintenance of health. For if they become congested or restricted, then the basic ordering principle of the body becomes impeded and health is compromised. Some common causes of restriction or resistance to these subtle motions of the body are physical injuries, emotional and psychological factors, birth trauma and toxicity (to name a few). In Biodynamic CranioSacral therapy, I seek the clearest and most dynamic expression of health. And through subtle skilled touch, conscious presence and listening, freedom in the body can be restored fluid flow is normalized and thus intrinsic healing follows.
