Tukshop was born in 2003 when mrsteve our founder was travelling in India during a six month sabbatical away from a successful recruitment career.

Our first shipment of 20 Bajaj Tuk Tuks arrived early 2004 from India at Southampton docks.

It took the best part of six months to sort out the DVLA red tape and also persuade UK underwriters to insure the iconic three wheelers!

Our goal was a tuk tuk in every town and as of 2017 we are not far off with more than 200 tuk tuks running around (another 50 exported to Europe) in various applications not limited to a personal toy, a taxi, wedding hire vehicle, coffee cart, ice cream, photbooth..

Lots of other start ups have been inspired to make a business from tuk tuks all over the UK and Europe,you could too talk to mrsteve today..
