Bleeding Ear Studios

General information

Based in Southend, Bleeding Ear Studios has 3 acoustically designed rooms, each equipped with a drum kit, 2 guitar amps, a bass amp and a PA with as many microphones as you need for your rehearsal.

The recording studio is now open!
We are running a Pro Tools HD system, with Apogee AD16x converters and Sonodyne sm100ak monitors.
We have Waves, Eventide and UAD plugins, Golden Age Project, Classic API and DDA preamps and a whole host of top quality microphones such as the sE Electronics sE5600A, 2x Cascade Fat Head II's, a Blue Bluebird and the Shure beta range.

Prices for recording are
£175 for 1 day
£325 for 2 days
£450 for 3 days
Or £25 p/hr
You only pay for recording time, the mix is done for free! (2 mixes free per day booked)

Rates for rehearsals are £10 p/h or £35 for 4 hours. This includes use of drum kit, 2 guitar amps, bass amp and microphones/PA *
I will be happy to take block bookings so you can have the same slot each week.
I will also be offering storage space for equipment at £5 per week, per band (regardless of how much is being stored)
