The Wellbeing Workshop - Reiki Training & Complementary Therapy

We offer training in both Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2.

The Reiki courses Jo teaches are for people who wish to use Reiki on themselves, friends, family, animals AND for those who plan to utilise Reiki either in their current line of work or as a new, alternative career. Reiki's beauty is in its simplicity - everyone can learn this lifelong skill which can enhance and support us in everyday life. It is a completely natural way of stimulating the innate healing process - and can help bring things back into balance: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Reiki 1 is the entry level into Reiki and focuses on physical and self-healing. By the end of the day, students will then be able to use Reiki on themselves, friends, family, and animals.

Reiki 2 is available to those who have completed their first level and wish to progress their understanding of Reiki and increase the healing energy available to them. This stage focuses on emotional, mental and distance healing. On completion of the course, the student will be certified to practice as a professional Reiki practitioner.

Each course is limited to 6 places - because there is a lot to learn and absorb within a short space of time, it is important that my students get plenty of attention, feedback and hands-on practice. It is also designed for people to come away, not only with the ability to give Reiki but for the day to have been an enjoyable experience. All materials, certificate, refreshments, organic homemade lunch and cake (always lemon drizzle for Reiki Level 1, varies for Reiki level 2) are included in the training fee.

My courses are certificated and comply with the Reiki Council's core curriculum and The National Occupational Standards (NOS). On completion of the Reiki Level 2 course & successful submission of case studies, the student will be certified to practitioner level. This entitles them to hold insurance and membership with a reputable professional body such as The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) enabling them to practice professionally.
