I have never met anyone who cannot improve their guitar playing with well structured lessons and practice. Although natural musical talent varies from person to person everyone benefits from following a clear and structured path where goals are set and the student receives clear guidance on how to achieve those goals. I teach in a friendly, relaxed and patient manner which has developed over the many years experience I have in teaching adults and children from all walks of life and all abilities. Lesson Prices

I teach across the south of England with lessons taking place in my home in Horsham or at the student’s home, depending on the distance. Lessons are currently priced at £15 for 30 minutes and £20 for 45 minutes and £25 for 60minutes. I also offer a 10% per lesson discount when paying in advance for 4 lessons.

Beginners Guitar Lessons

Beginner guitarists can often be overwhelmed by the amount of information that’s available out there, from youtube lessons to guitar magazine articles, to just trying to copy something a friend has shown you.

I can help demystify all of this by guiding you through the beginning stages.

Beginners music theory
Beginners guitar grades e.g. Rock School exams – I have found the Rock School series of guitar grades to be of great benefit to beginners and would encourage you to give them a try.
Power Chords
The pentatonic scale
Easy to play repertoire or simplified arrangements of you favourite songs.
