Sarah Manton (Studio)

General information

From my studio in the heart of Nottingham's Creative Quarter, I design and make a range of artworks and gifts from paper and textiles. Never happier than when wielding a scalpel, producing intricate papercuts is my central passion. The core of my work is botanical, featuring flora and fauna, but a penchant for all things rock music often influences my work - in particular, immortalising musical icons in papercut form.

I love sharing my enthusiasm for crafting with others and in our Curious? studios in Sneinton Market, Sarah Sewell, Jessica Kemp and I carefully select some of the finest arts and crafts practitioners to deliver workshops, courses and masterclasses for your learning pleasure!

Handbound and stitched books, photograph albums, decoupage covered furniture, quilts and soft furnishings are also among my passions... Who am I kidding?... I am essentially a creative butterfly and thrive on the challenge of working in a variety of media, so please get in touch and I will do everything I can to make your dreams a reality! :)
