We have furnished Beacon View, a holiday let in the Yorkshire Dales almost exclusively with items made in the British Isles, take a look at www.beaconcottages.co.uk

The choice to buy British-made items is not based on this factor alone, rather on their quality, integrity and longevity. It feels important to us to support manufacturing in the UK where possible, and we have found some superb companies, offering lovely products, and with a great ethos.

We recognise that cheaper items will be available, the cost difference is generally not that much, and when you consider the quality you are buying into, then UK-made offers excellent long-term value.

The Beacon Designs collection is inspired by unique imagery of the Yorkshire Dales. We love the resilient, collaborative nature of sheep and have aimed to capture this, as well as celebrating the distinctive dry stone walls, built with great skill and very little resource - they define the Yorkshire Dales! There's also a contemporary appreciation of the iconic Yorkshire white rose's understated elegance and beauty.
