Merlin's Meadow - Dog Park

General information

Tewkesbury Secure Dog Park aka Merlin's Meadow was inspired by my Saluki - Merlin! I was struggling to find anywhere that I could let him run free as being a Sighthound, he runs off after anything that moves. Cars, bikes, lorrys, runners, children, rabbits...! I knew that there were other people in my situation so decided to open it to the public by appointment.

The land consists of two adjoining fields, fully fenced with 6ft horsewire and 6ft deer gates. There is an area of hardstanding to park your car within the boundary fence and a seperate area outside for early arrivals.

For extra entertainment for your dogs there are straw bales, a couple of agility tunnels and jumps, a sandpit and a toy box with balls and ropes. There's picnic benches and a field shelter as well as water stations and poop bins.

You can hire the fields exclusively for £15 per hour, this is for up to four dogs from the same family, with extra's being £3 each (fosters are excluded from extra charges). Alternatively you can form a group at £5 each but the minimum of £15 is still payable. Payment secures the booking.

I have a group slot every Saturday at midday (please check out the events page for information on these) and also a group in the first field each weekday evening from 7.15pm. Group slots are £5 each family.
