General information

Openmindness Ltd. was set up ten years ago by Alison Raphael. Spurred into the profession by overcoming difficult challenges in her own life, Openmindness now sits comfortably as a proud business, emphasised by the influx of referrals we now receive from previous clients.

A few years previously, Alison was facing divorce, life as a single mum and had only just started to recover from 4 years of M.E. Therefore she was forced to go on her own path of learning, discovering an answer in her chosen profession: Visionary Psychology, a literal tool to uncover your own pathway in life.

Alison has battled through her own life experiences as well helped many other people to overcome their anxiety and issues to live a simpler and happier life. She knows that we all try to deal with the issues of daily life differently, but most of us do not know how to move forward and focus on the present, the future, or feel that no-one will understand. Whether its family, illness, relationship or stress at work, we are often left feeling alone, without anyone to talk to due to the fear of judgement, or lack of understanding. Alison fervently believes it is a privilege and a joy in helping others to overcome challenges and create the equilibrium they dream of.

In her work with clients, Alison draws on her training and experience in hypnotherapy, NLP, life coaching and EFT, to work with people in a 'client-focused' and therefore pro-active fashion. Knowledgeable in a multitude of therapeutic techniques, her approaches differs according to what is most appropriate for each individual client. She offers face to face sessions as well as phone sessions.
