The Welwyn Hatfield Mosquitos are an Adult Men's and Women's American Football team (18+) in development within the Welwyn Hatfield Borough in Hertfordshire.
The Mosquitos are named after the famous De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito aircraft which was a British multi-role combat aircraft with a two-man crew that served during and after the Second World War. The De Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was built in Hatfield and can be seen in films such as '633 Squadron', released in 1964.
The Welwyn Hatfield Mosquitos are dedicated to providing a team that represents the borough and one that the local community can be proud of.
