General information

I am a Stone Carver who is continuing his family link to stone carving, which was inspired by Lincoln Cathedral. My first step on this path was training as a Stone Mason at York College and later working as a Stone Mason for Bowman and Sons in Stamford, Lincolnshire. I went on to train as a Stone Carver at the London City and Guilds Art School, dealing predominantly with historical/ornament carving.

My inter-relational and design skills were pushed to new limits on the MA Art in Architecture course, at the University of East London. This gave me the confidence to go on to teach stone carving both in art colleges and privately. I regularly take on commissions and also produce free flowing sculptural carving for ecclesiastical, gallery, garden, public art spaces and private individuals.
