Angela Holt - Mindwell Therapy

General information

I am qualified with a PG Diploma (Level 7) in Counselling and Psychotherapy, am a registered member of the BACP and adhere to their code of ethical practice.

With a grounding in person-centred approach, I now work pluralistically with individuals and couples, employing various approached to therapy that is right for you.

I will offer you time just for you, in a safe and confidential space, where you have the opportunity to think and talk about yourself and your concerns in a way that you often can’t do with family, friends or colleagues.

I will accept you, not judge you. I will listen empathically to what matters to you and what you wish to change. I will offer the right amount of challenge to help you gain insight and clarity in your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Together we will work towards improving your well-being, in a manner and pace to suit you, and empower you to make the changes you want in your life and your relationship.

I have experienced being in ‘the other chair’ and hope that together we can bring the positive benefits of therapy into your life too. I love what I do and am committed to sharing your journey and helping you to become the person that you want to be and helping you work through relationship problems.

We can arrange an initial session at either my Sale or Wilmslow practice, to give us an opportunity to decide if I am the right therapist for you and that we can work together.

Individual sessions last for 50 minutes and couples sessions for 60 minutes on a weekly basis. There are no constraints on the number of sessions you have. We will review our work together every six weeks and it depends on when you feel you have achieved what you want from therapy that we agree and plan an appropriate ending.
I also offer 6 week short-term solution focussed therapy to help you deal with a specific situation, coping strategies or help you re-focus on what's important to you. Therapy can continue should you wish if other issues arise. Therapy is what you want it to be.
