TARKA POTTERY is an exciting and inspiring clay experience studio in North Devon. Located in beautiful countryside with stunning views. Try our potters wheel experience, join a pottery class, clay workshop, paint pottery, hen party, birthday party, anniversary treat or spoil yourself with a family or friends. Adult sessions available and we're family friendly too!

Our popular Potter's Wheel Experience is great fun and a brilliant experience gift idea for all ages. Have a go on a potter's wheel with as much help as needed to produce a ceramic bowl which you can decorate and glaze in a two hour activity.

We love to capture hand and foot prints in paint on pottery and offer babies, children and families the chance to create a personalised clock, mug, plate and heart tiles with plenty of other pottery shapes available too.

Book a creative birthday party, hen party or day/evening activity with family or friends. We can tailor a workshop or class for your group or club, suitable for all ages.

Evening and daytime pottery classes on two days a week in term time, very suitable for beginners and those with some experience with clay.
