General information

Nicola graduated from Reading University with a degree in Typography & Graphic Communications with further studies in stained glass at London's City Lit. Her 10 years' experience has produced designs inspired by the beauty and diversity within nature the British coastline and her travels overseas. Real leaves and flowers are often fused in the glass at temperatures around 800 degrees centigrade and other kiln techniques such as painting and slumping are used to apply pattern and texture. She works closely with clients to develop ideas and to incorporate each panel into its proposed location. Panels can fit in windows doors and skylights in homes and public spaces. Alternatively custom-built lightboxes can be made to brighten up dark corridors or any area lacking in natural light. Nicola's panels were featured in Grand Design's Magazine February 2005
