Banbury Cupcakes and more

General information

I first started making cakes as a small child with my mum. She taught me how to make everything from the classic Victoria sponge to a rich fruit cake to scones and rock cakes. By the time I left home I was very confident in my cake making and cooking skills. Since then I have married and have had two children, Kate (12) and Lucy (9). My husband has over the years enjoyed the variety of cakes and biscuits that I have made. Over the past 10 years I have made birthday cakes for my daughters and for family members, ranging from ballet themes to Mr Blobby (for those of you that can remember him!).
