The traditional Yorkshire stone cottage was built in the grounds of The Lodge (up on the hill), originally as the groundkeepers’ cottages, and has its own walled garden, woods and mature gardens to explore.

Inside, you’ll find a recently-updated interior that oozes country charm while providing all the modern touches needed for a relaxing holiday. A double, a twin and a family bedroom, complete with comfortable beds to sink into, plus two bathrooms make this place ideal for families and group holidays. Gather round the table in the dining room or relax in the lounge, both with their own log fires, to recount the day’s adventures. And with a fully-equipped kitchen and plenty of local farm shops and markets nearby, whipping up a feast will be a pleasure.
