BritishSpanish Society

General information

The BritishSpanish Society is a registered charity whose objectives are to promote friendship and understanding between the people of Britain and Spain through knowledge of each other’s customs, language, institutions, history and way of life. We are a non-political organisation and membership is open to anyone with an interest in Spain and its culture.

We host several cultural events and activities which provide our members with an opportunity to integrate and form friendships. Additionally, as a charity, we are proud to award scholarships and bursaries to British and Spanish post-graduate students every year, thanks to the generosity of our principal supporters, and in doing so we hope to encourage valuable research and learning which we believe to be beneficial for both the UK and Spain.

Due to growing membership, the Society is stronger than ever, demonstrating the enduring relevance of our central mission to bring British and Spanish people together. There has never been a better time to support the BritishSpanish Society.
