The London Free Open Pushing Hands Session is a free tai chi pushing hands (tui shou) session, held EVERY Saturday morning at the beautiful setting of Hampstead Heath's Parliament Hill Bandstand from 8am to 11am.
The sessions were started, and are led, by Barry McGinlay of Tai Chi Life School and the Longfei Taijiquan Association of Great Britain.
The sessions are non-style-based and open to everyone, including teachers who would like to share their knowledge.
The London Free Open Pushing Hands Session began taking shape in early 2010 and was officially advertised on the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain's website in August 2010.

so it's spring and the London Free Open Pushing Hands Session is moving to Hampstead Heath's Parliament Hill Bandstand as from the 2nd May :)
Directions are as follows -

- Nearest overground station: Gospel Oak
- Nearest underground station: Tufnell Park (Northern Line)
- Nearest mainline train station: Kentish Town
- Buses serving Highgate Road nearby: 214 and C2.
Near to the Bandstand, Parliament Hill Cafe is open from 9am on Saturdays and Parliament Hill Farmers' Market is open from 10am! :)
Please note that we are in communication with Regent's Park management about the move, meaning that we no longer hold responsibility for any pushing hands taking place at Regent's Park Bandstand between 8am and 10.30am on Saturday mornings.
