MAES Therapy specialises in Early Intervention and specialised treatment for babies and children with movement and coordination difficulties, caused by a variety of neurodevelopmental conditions, which might include for example: Cerebral Palsy, Erb’s palsy, acquired head injury.

If you are a Therapist and fellow professional looking to increase your knowledge and clinical expertise in relation to CP and similar neurodevelopmental conditions, you are also in the right place.

Our approach aims at providing clients with very specific and individualised treatment to improve clients’ coordination of movement on a short and long term basis.

During treatment sessions, parents and carers learn about how to best handle and interact with the child to ensure treatment is most effective and carries over into daily living.

Therapists wishing to develop their own skills along these lines can do so either by visiting us with their own patients to be mentored, or to attend some of our courses.

Our strength is the in-depth analysis and understanding of movement and coordination and then finding strategies to help clients with movement disorders to develop a repertoire of new movement combinations they are unlikely to develop on their own.
