General information

My name is Tanya and I am a fully trained and qualified counsellor to Advanced Diploma level. I offer a private and confidential service counselling adults, young adolescents, children and couples.

What is Counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy that aims to help you deal with and overcome problems and issues that are causing you pain and distress. Counselling provides a safe environment for you to talk and explore your feelings. A counsellor will not give advice but will help you to develop a better insight and understanding of your problems. A counsellor is trained to listen with empathy and help to change negative thought patterns.
