General information

Elephant Lane was formally known as Curtains by Emma Jane and was founded towards the end of 2013 after a difficult 2 years learning to juggle a large family, a demanding job, retirement from the Army for my husband after a full career and our youngest son, George, 2, being registered as severely visually impaired/blind due to a genetic condition. During 2013 I realised I just could not do everything any more and after much thought decided to work from home doing what I love! So, following professional training Curtains by Emma Jane was founded. All curtains made by me are hand finished to a professional standard, as are roman blinds. I source all materials including the fabric and offer free estimates and advice, I also carry out alterations. All other home furnishings from cushions and fabric letters to place mats are made to order so you can personalise each item. I have access to many fabrics, trimmings, curtain poles and much more. Elephant Lane has allowed me to extend the products I can offer to you, so you can now buy that perfect birthday present for that special friend or treat yourself to something nice just because you are you. I am also an 'Official Stockist of Frenchic® Furniture Paint as well DCUK ducks amongst other beautiful gifts and home-ware. I take pride in my work and hope to fill your homes with my products.
