L'AREEVA DANCE ACADEMY® CLASSES:

IDTA Ballet, IDTA Tap, Acrobatics, Contemporary/Lyrical, Commercial Street Dance, Modern/Musical Theatre, Singing, Stage Competition Work, Private Lessons, Body Conditioning Inclusive.

Pupils who attend our IDTA Ballet & IDTA Tap Classes, take formal dance exams. Pupils may enter regional and national competitions, as well as offering a range of opportunities to gain performance experience, both in-house and in professional venues.

Sherene Flash and Sarah Mahon have collaborated as a team to create and run L'areeva Dance Academy®, and are excited to combine and utilize their skills and professional experience enabling them to give the best possible technique, training and education to equip pupils who are considering a career in the world of dance, performing arts entertainment industry, as well as wanting to have a fun rewarding hobby.

Our mission is to deliver successful and fulfilling careers for all our pupils. We inspire confidence, knowledge motivation and positivity, and nurture talent of all abilities and backgrounds, regardless of academic ability or personal circumstances.

SHERENE FLASH - PRINCIPAL

Sherene’s background and experience of Dance and Fitness is vast, having previously trained in RAD, The Birmingham Youth Ballet Company, Zumba® Fitness & a Scholarship Student to both Performing Arts Educational and London Studio Centre, including having over 15 professional years of experience in the Commercial Dance, Theatre, TV, Acting and Fashion Entertainment industry Worldwide, having worked with Take That, Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Tom Jones, Snoop & Pharrell, Adam Garcia, Arctic Monkeys, Diana Ross, Peter Andre, Blue, Boyzone & Kesha to name a few.

SARAH MAHON - PRINCIPAL

Having trained in all styles of Dance & performing from a very young age, Sarah has successfully passed all of her Examinations with Distinction throughout her career in Ballet, Tap, Modern & Gymnastics and is also an Experienced, Qualified Teacher under the IDTA Examination Board. Sarah has competed in many Festivals & has performed in professional shows including The Musical Fame & Oliver at The Alexander Theatre. As well as Teaching, Fashion & Modelling, Sarah is also a Musician. From the age of 14 with Grade 8 Distinction in Violin, Sarah has utilised both professions enabling her to perform at many Venues like, The Symphony Hall, The Royal Albert Hall & Adrian Bolt Hall, travelling all over the UK.
