General information

Willows Design is a home-based typesetting and graphics design service based in Linthorpe Village, Middlesbrough and is owned by me, Terry McNeill.

I have over twenty-five years experience in the print industry, both in the Newspaper and Commercial Print. The majority of this time was spent working at Gazette Media Company in Middlesbrough, most other time was working for commercial print companies and also whilst working in other roles for companies. Working alongside management teams, marketing departments, sales executives and PR Officers I have worked on in-house marketing and promotional campaigns, producing work on both a local, national and international scale.

I offer customers a complete typsetting service, taking your ideas from conception to completion, working with you to 'get the ball rolling', listening to you, identifying your requirements and producing your work to the highest possible standards. Leaving you time to focus on business matters, knowing that your project is taken care of.

As my skills and knowledge base continue to develop, I am now able to offer other services including Static Web Design, Greetings Videos and Video to DVD Conversion.

Design Services.
From a small business card, to a magazine, to larger Point of Sale and shop signage or if you advertise in Newspapers or Magazines, I can design it and manage your finishing requirements for you, throughout my career I have produced a varying range of materials for clients.
Working from a jointly constructed layout, I will produce an intial proof, from there we will work together, spending as much time as deemed necessary, until the artwork is finalised and approved. Only then will the artwork go to print, be uploaded or sent to an external recipient giving you the peace of mind that you have had a personal input in every stage of production, right up to the finished product.
I also offer design preparation services, preparing all the elements for you, generating more time to co-ordinate and produce your own products, this includes image correction, image resizing, image re-saving, sourcing images, cut outs etc...

Print Services.
Once your work is complete and approved, I can arrange for your work to be printed and delivered direct to your door and handle the billing documentation for you.
I work with several printers in the UK which I send out print specifications and invite these companies to quote for me.
There are a select few I tend to use on a regular basis because I have identified these companies to be competitive, reliable and most importantly I consider these companies to be the best ones that I have used.

Web Design
As my skills base have developed, I am now able to offer Web Design Services. I can produce static websites to your requirements.
I also offer web preparation services, preparing all the elements for you, generating more time to co-ordinate and produce your own website, this includes image processing, image resizing, image re-saving, sourcing images, creating animated gif files etc...

Greetings Videos
Are a great way of surprising a loved one. We work together to produce a collection of your family photos from over the years, then run them together with a collection of your loved one's favourite songs and finish off with video greetings from friends and family.
The finished video is then burned to DVD to include an introduction screen and scene selections menu and is packaged in a case with cover and you can order as many copies as you wish.
