General information

We all go through difficult and stressful times during our lives. Although friends and family are often willing and able to give support, it can sometimes be a relief to talk to an impartial person who is not directly affected by our worries. Admitting that such help is needed is often the first step towards restoring a sense of control and well-being. As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist with 12 years experience of working in the NHS and nine years in private practice, I offer a safe and professional service for people who wish to share their concerns in confidence. I take care to explore the nature of each person’s difficulties before helping them to identify effective ways of coping that work for them personally. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is my main approach but I draw on a range of others including Mindfulness Meditation in order to meet the individual needs of my clients.
