Semi Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs Micro pigmentation (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup and other permanently enhancing colours to the skin, applied to the face, lips, and eyelids.

It can be used to produce eyeliner and eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of ageing or disease such as alopecia, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance.

Semi Permanent Cosmetics can also be used medically, to disguise scars or white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast’s nipple and areola area after surgery.
