General information

At Holly Farm Holidays you will find a converted Railway Goods Carriage and a genuine Mongolian Yurt - glamping at its best. All set in a beautiful rural location in South Somerset close to the Blackdown Hills. Full facilities provided with washroom/shower, toilet and cooking.
"Big Red" is the converted Railway Goods Carriage, tastefully converted and furnished for a comfy stay, it's equipped with a lovely wood burner, dining table and chairs and comfy double sofa bed. It has full electrics, sockets and lighting. You can shut yourself in for complete peace or open up the big doors to bring the countryside in and have a great view out over fields and woods.
Mongolian Yurt
is a genuine one, 16 feet diameter and furnished with all you need, it's decorated in the traditional Mongolian way and also features a lovely warm woodburner. It's felt lined to give extra insulation and has a wonderful clear crown wheel cap so it lets the light in during the day and you can star gaze
at night! It's mounted on its own decking in a quiet area of the field with great views
Lighting is via eco friendly solar lights and a range of candles/lanterns for a cosy atmosphere. It sleeps 2 on a luxury mattressed futon.

A gas barbeque is available for and also other cooking facilities available in the barn including a microwave, kettle, hotplates, fridge freezer, toaster its all just a short stroll away.
The farm is now run as a smallholding and has a range of animals - chickens, ducks, pigs and occasional turkeys, also a large vegetable area and polytunnel. Jason and Tracy try to maintain a self sufficient lifestyle and would welcome you to join them for a stay. They also welcome well behaved dogs.
