General information

We provide care for 2-5 year olds in a happy, secure and educational environment - we are graded Outstanding by Ofsted, with qualified teaching staff following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum (EYFS)

Alpington is easily accessible from the A146 and our Cottontails come from many surrounding villages, as do our fully qualified teachers.

The venue is clean and spacious inside and children have constant access to the enclosed outside space - a garden and playfort, slide and equipment. There is ample parking space for drop off/pick up times.

Each child has their own qualified keyperson who will take them through the Early Years Foundation curriculum and ensure that they have fun in a safe and secure environment. A Learning Journey is formed, using photos and anecdotes, which is a lovely way of keeping in touch with your little one’s time and progress at preschool.

We are open from 9.15am-12.15pm Monday-Thursday (Wednesdays 9.00am-12pm) and we offer extended sessions on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for 3 + year olds & funded 2 year olds.

Our session price is £11.00 per 3 hour session, with government funding for 3 & 4 year olds. We are also an approved funded 2 year old provider.(see our admissions page for details).

You'll find us only 4.5 miles/10mins outside Norwich.

Indoor activities at Cottontails include cooking, messy play, role play, singing, construction, creative arts and crafts.

In our spacious outdoor areas we enjoy activities such as gardening, water play, ball and racquet games protected under our awning for plenty of fresh air, whatever the weather!
