Funk Forever Dance

General information

Check out Funk Forever classes for kids, teens and adults with Nadz, specialising in many street dance styles held in Dumbarton and surrounding areas.

All classes taught by Nadz who has learned from choreographers of Michael Jackson and from So you Think You can Dance and will teach you the foundations of street styles such as popping, locking, waacking and breakin' - plus more!

Builds confidence in kids to express themselves through movement, meet new friends and have lots of fun at the same time!!

Hip-hop Dance || 7-8pm Thursday || improve your technique and learn a new style of choreo every week!

Adults - £5/class
Kids/teens - block bookings (5 or 10 weeks)

Bio:- Nadz is a dance & fitness instructor (qualified CYQ level 2) who works with individuals to bring out the best in their ability and keep them motivated to reach their goals - be it dance or fitness related. Currently working with WDC Active Schools and local projects to bring streetdance to the community.

Nadz started dancing from a young age in a musical household, watching Michael Jackson, Madonna & James Brown mainly, but in the last 7 years has been trained across various street styles including locking, popping, waacking, Bboy/girl, voguing, nu-style, dancehall and krump. She has trained with top professionals across the World such as The Electric Boogaloos (USA) - who worked with Michael Jackson in the 80's, Salah (France), Zamounda (France), Lockadelic (Lady Gaga, Akon, LMFAO, France), Boogie P (Spain), Flying Jalapeños (Scotland), Locking Chi-Funk & Alvaro Funkestein (Spain), Miss C & T-Zer (Sweden), Kumari Suraj (SYTYCD, Lady Gaga, USA) & Lady Cultura (USA), P*Fect (Sweden), Marvel (London), Brooke Milliner (London). She also trained for 8 years as a gymnast with Dumbarton Diamonds Club.
